About The Position

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring sales forecasts are achieved, managing BDC expenses, and overseeing the recording and reporting of all incoming sales inquiries. This role involves producing weekly and monthly reports for the GM and other Senior Management, monitoring advertising expenses and their return on investment, and establishing performance targets for each Business Development Representative (BDR). The manager will also monitor and maintain the BDC department's financial performance against budget, lead the BDR team to achieve a minimum performance of 20% appointments from incoming calls, and manage the team to contact every unsold opportunity to measure satisfaction and take appropriate action. Additionally, the BDR team will contact every sold customer and all customers during the survey period in accordance with dealership and OEM standards.

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Five years of automotive business development center experience
  • Valid driver license
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales forecasts are achieved according to the agreed quarterly forecasts
  • Manage BDC expenses so as to not exceed the agreed upon percentage of sales
