About The Position

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring appointment forecasts are achieved, managing the BDC department's financial performance, and leading the BDR team to meet customer engagement standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze performance metrics, and a commitment to fostering a professional work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Five years of automotive business development center experience.
  • Valid driver license.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appointment forecasts are achieved according to the agreed quarterly forecasts.
  • Ensure daily communication with the Service Director regarding the appointment schedule.
  • Download all required manufacturer manifest lists before the monthly deadline and schedule additional service appointments using these lists.
  • Maintain a daily service appointment count previously set by management.
  • Contact all service appointments 24 hours before their appointment to confirm.
  • Contact all no-show customers to reschedule their appointment.
  • Ensure recording and reporting of all incoming sales/service inquiries.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for the GM and other Senior Management.
  • Establish performance targets for each Business Development Representative (BDR).
  • Monitor and maintain the BDC department's financial performance vs. budget.
  • Manage the BDR team to reach all customers during the survey period in accordance with dealership and OEM standards.
  • Maintain and cultivate recall and service galley lists.
