This role is within the Sales team, which focuses on building relationships and connecting with customers to sell beloved brands in new and vibrant markets. The Sales team operates across different markets, channels, and areas of expertise, utilizing consumer insight and digital platforms to reach new customers and achieve growth potential. This specific role involves driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and ensuring flawless outlet execution for Diageo's brands in the Maryland/DC region.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Rate of Sale & Growth in Key Outlets, measured by Sales Growth vs Target (%) – Achievement of volume, dNSV, and High-Value Account Development – Growth rate (sales/value) of identified top-tier or strategic accounts.
  • Develop and deploy localized activation strategies that elevate brand visibility, strengthen customer connection, and reinforce brand storytelling.
  • Build & Strengthen Customer Relationships through Key Account Coverage & Engagement, including calling on key Multi-Outlet Groups and Regional Customers.
  • Contribute Market Insights, focusing on the frequency and quality of actionable insights shared with BDD/Performance teams regarding promotion, pricing, customer and consumer behavior shifts, and competitive activity.
  • Champion Flawless Outlet Execution, measured by Outlet Execution Compliance (%) – % of assigned outlets meeting Diageo brand standards, visibility guidelines, and commercial priorities.
