We have an opening for a Business Development Manager, Global Fintech. The Business Development Manager supports the business development and marketing efforts for the Fintech practice and works with partners and business development team members to create and execute strategic profile-raising activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, law or business (required)
  • At least 7 years of marketing professional experience (required)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a corporate law firm setting or relevant industry setting

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of management experience in a corporate law firm setting or relevant industry setting (preferred)
  • Experience supporting financial services practice, preferably fintech, digital assets and/or cryptocurrency

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development and marketing plans; collaborate with partners, the business development, marketing and communications teams, as well as other internal stakeholders;
  • Support the Fintech practice group’s key client efforts and gather intelligence on legal industry trends and the competitive landscape;
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to draft and produce high-quality new business pitches and proposals;
  • Collaborate with the global business development team on the identification and pursuit of cross-selling initiatives;
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, including practice overviews, web content, experience and awards/recognition;
  • Evaluate, execute and manage sponsorship opportunities and partnerships, ensuring the firm capitalizes on all benefits to maximize ROI;
  • Coordinate and prepare submissions for relevant practice awards and recognition;
  • Develop and oversee client events, seminars and conferences;
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on relevant media relations and digital marketing initiatives;
  • Contribute to department-wide efforts to improve business development processes and functions;
  • Other related duties as assigned.
