About The Position

Thermal Care, part of the Piovan Group, is a leading manufacturer of process cooling equipment and systems for applications worldwide. As an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, Thermal Care provides heat transfer equipment for over 50 industries and specializes in meeting the specific needs of our customers by offering both standard and custom designed industrial process cooling solutions. Some of the industries served include plastics, laser, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing. The Aftermarket Account Manager is responsible for driving aftermarket sales growth through the development and management of preventive maintenance agreements, spare parts sales, and service solutions. This position focuses on building long-term customer relationships while coordinating service execution through both internal resources and independent service providers. The successful candidate will take on a role that supports a nationwide aftermarket strategy, with a primary focus on direct factory service support within Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Service activities outside of this region will be executed through established partnerships with qualified independent service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in sales, service, or aftermarket support
  • Strong understanding of service-based sales including contracts, parts, and field service coordination
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Technical aptitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to travel as required

  • Experience working with independent service providers is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, sell, and manage preventive maintenance (PM) agreements for Thermal Care equipment
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for spare parts sales, upgrades, and aftermarket solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term service partnerships
  • Coordinate and manage service execution for PM agreements and service work
  • Work with independent service providers across the United States to support nationwide coverage
  • Establish, develop, and maintain service provider agreements to ensure quality and consistency of service delivery
  • Meet with independent service providers to establish relationships, evaluate capabilities, and expand Thermal Care’s service network
  • Support direct factory service activities within Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana, including coordination of field service technicians
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding aftermarket service needs and contract performance
  • Collaborate with internal departments including service, parts, and customer support to ensure successful execution of agreements
  • Utilize Thermal Care systems and tools to track opportunities, contracts, and customer activity
  • Provide input on pricing strategies, service offerings, and aftermarket programs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication, follow-up, and issue resolution
  • Travel as required to support customer visits, service provider development, and business growth
