About The Position

Saint Mary’s Regional Health System is seeking a Behavioral Health Business Development Liaison in Russellville, AR. This full-time position is crucial in supporting the workforce that interfaces with patients and community members, ultimately shaping a healthier future. The role involves supporting customized rehabilitation programs for individuals recovering from various injuries and conditions, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, or orthopedic injury.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Two years marketing/sales experience.
  • Formal sales training.
  • Demonstrated healthcare sales experience, including lead generation, educating referral sources, persistent follow-up, and follow-through on all leads.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a clinical setting directly involved with patient diagnosis and/or assessing acuity for complex patients.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Clinical Licensure Preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, RN, LPN)

Responsibilities

  • Initiates one-on-one dialog with potential referral sources and maintains positive relationships with current referral sources.
  • Designs, develops, and drives cutting-edge sales strategies to increase patient admissions through relationship building with referring facilities, clinics, community partners, and physicians.
  • Implements an effective marketing plan to achieve budgeted census, patient mix, referral, and contact objectives.
  • Maintains appropriate statistics and generates reports as required by facility policy and procedures.
  • Communicates effectively with physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and other referral sources.
  • Conducts sales calls on existing and potential referral sources to maintain a constant flow of referrals and performs problem-solving.
  • Actively identifies and follows up on opportunities to increase profitability, efficiency, and market share.
  • Follows up on internal and external problems related to the referral/admission process to ensure rapid solutions.
  • Maintains knowledge of and effectively promotes programs and internal resources.
  • Reviews and provides written analysis of denial tracking monthly to the Facility Administrator and recommends a plan of action.
  • Develops and maintains systems/procedures to increase and maximize inpatient to PHP/IOP or other program conversion rates.
  • Reviews and provides written analysis of referrals and admissions by Medical Director, Hospital, and payer source with recommendations and action plans.
  • Conducts monthly reviews and analysis of marketing contacts with recommendations and action plans.
  • Monitors and assists with the admission/discharge procedure.
  • Actively schedules and conducts presentations and tours of the facility to referral sources, professionals, and family members.
  • Participates in community activities that promote the facility's services.
  • Ensures consistent marketing of the facility, including newspaper and television advertisements.
