About The Position

Revise Robotics is building robots that automatically refurbish used laptops, aiming to divert them from shredders and provide them to those in need. The Business Development Intern will play a crucial role in scaling this mission by procuring a large volume of used laptops through partnerships and collaborations with existing industry players. This is a real Business Development role with tangible outcomes, directly contributing to the company's goal of diverting laptops from waste and into the hands of people who need them.

Requirements

  • You've done some version of sales, fundraising, or persuasive outreach before — a product, a nonprofit, a cause you cared about.
  • You know what "no" feels like and you keep going.
  • You're a strong writer. Cold emails, LinkedIn notes, and follow-ups are most of the job, and good ones get replies while bad ones don't.
  • You genuinely care about climate, digital equity, or both.

Nice To Haves

  • any exposure to enterprise IT, sustainability reporting, procurement, or the circular economy.

Responsibilities

  • Help us bring used laptops in the door, so that we can continue to train our robots and make them faster, more reliable, and generalizable.
  • Research the organizations that retire large volumes of laptops each year.
  • Identify the right people inside them.
  • Open conversations.
  • Build the target list.
  • Draft the outreach.
  • Work email and LinkedIn to schedule meetings on my calendar.
  • As you find your footing, you'll start running those meetings yourself.
