About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, design-forward Business Development Intern to support our sales and partnerships team. This role sits at the intersection of research, strategy, and presentation—helping turn opportunities into polished, client-ready materials that close deals. If you’re someone who can take raw ideas and turn them into clean, compelling decks that actually sell, this is for you.

Requirements

  • Strong design sensibility with a clean, modern aesthetic and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Figma, Google Slides, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build presentations that are not just visually strong, but strategically structured
  • Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize information quickly and clearly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects with tight turnaround times
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
  • Interest in media, marketing, advertising, and brand partnerships
  • Deeply immersed in the culture we represent

Nice To Haves

  • Portfolio of presentation decks, pitch materials, or design work
  • Familiarity with advertising, media sales, or experiential marketing
  • Basic understanding of storytelling frameworks for sales (problem → solution → value)
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales and market research across brands, agencies, and potential partners
  • Identify and compile prospect lists aligned with Areya Media’s offerings (media, experiential, podcasts, branded content)
  • Support the development of sales materials including pitch decks, one-sheets, and proposals
  • Design high-quality, visually compelling presentations using Figma, Google Slides, and PowerPoint
  • Translate rough ideas, notes, and strategy into structured, client-facing narratives
  • Maintain and update templates for decks and sales collateral to ensure brand consistency
  • Collaborate with the sales, audience development, and content teams to align on messaging
  • Assist in customizing decks for specific clients, campaigns, and pitches
  • Organize assets, case studies, and performance data for use in presentations
  • Stay on top of design trends and presentation best practices to continuously elevate output
