Job Summary: Pets Best is seeking a Business Development Executive – National to join our growing Employee Benefits Channel. This fully remote role is responsible for cultivating new national broker and benefits technology partnerships, as well as managing and growing existing national relationships within the employee benefits ecosystem. The Business Development Executive- National will play a key role in expanding our national partnership program with leading broker/consultant firms and benefits technology platforms that serve large- to enterprise-size employers. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for partners, delivering high-touch service, driving engagement, and proactively supporting partnership needs. Key responsibilities include building new partnerships, supporting partner go-to-market activity, driving growth and engagement strategies, supporting marketing initiatives, delivering annual stewardship and performance insights, and ensuring seamless day-to-day partnership support. This role will collaborate closely with the Regional Sales team to identify opportunities and drive net-new business. In addition, the role will work cross-functionally with marketing, implementation, and other internal teams based on partner needs. As Pets Best continues expanding within the employee benefits space, this position is ideal for someone with strong relationship-building and sales skills, deep knowledge of the employee benefits landscape (including both national brokerage and benefits technology segments), and a proven track record in sales and/or account management.
