About The Position

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development / Account Management professional to drive growth in the Aerospace Engineering Services (ER&D) space. This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role focused on building and expanding strategic aerospace accounts across North America.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Engineering Services / ER&D sales
  • Proven track record of owning and growing $5M+ accounts
  • Demonstrated success in closing multi-million dollar deals ($5M–$20M+)
  • Strong experience selling into Aerospace & Defense clients (OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers)
  • Hands-on experience with: Engineering services (mechanical, embedded, systems, validation) OR Digital engineering (PLM, simulation, MES, digital twin, etc.)
  • Experience in managed services / offshore delivery models
  • Strong exposure to proposal/RFP cycles and commercial structuring
  • Comfortable working as an individual contributor (hunter + farmer)

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow key aerospace accounts (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners)
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycle : prospecting, pipeline building, solutioning, proposal, negotiation, and closure
  • Identify and close engineering services / ER&D deals (mechanical, embedded, digital engineering, PLM, simulation, etc.)
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of $5M+ opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with CXO and senior engineering stakeholders
  • Lead RFP/RFI responses, pricing, and commercial negotiations
  • Collaborate with delivery and pre-sales teams to structure managed services / fixed price deals
  • Drive both hunting (new logo acquisition) and farming (account expansion)
