About The Position

Vantor is seeking a Sales and Business Development Director on the US Government team, New Product Focused. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet annual revenue and booking quotas, while developing and implementing the growth strategy to drive new product awareness in the market. This Director will work closely with our product teams, as well as end and operational users, to identify, assess and deliver new products within the organization. Your success will be founded on your business relations background enabling you to drive engagement at an executive level. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission and products while conveying compelling value propositions.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in the UAS/drone ecosystem, preferably with an OEM or closely aligned technology provider
  • Strong understanding of ISR workflows, including how operators collect, interpret, and act on aerial data
  • Familiarity with video exploitation, geospatial tools, and real-time operational decision-making
  • Ability to clearly articulate how drone video translates into actionable ground truth (e.g., coordinates, targeting, situational awareness)
  • Experience positioning technology that integrates into broader mission systems (C2, sensors, or strike platforms)
  • Comfort operating in early-stage or emerging product environments, where feedback loops with product and engineering are critical
  • Startup-oriented: self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable building pipeline from zero
  • Strong bias for action—someone who will take the message forward without waiting for perfect conditions
  • Proven ability to open doors, create momentum, and close in ambiguous environments
  • High ownership mentality: treats territory, customers, and outcomes as their responsibility
  • Must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military experience strongly preferred, especially in roles involving UAS, ISR, fires, or tactical operations
  • Ability to engage authentically with operators and leadership by speaking their language and understanding mission constraints
  • Firsthand appreciation for contested or time-sensitive environments where precision and speed matter
  • Combination of drone domain expertise, end-user empathy, and a bias for action
