The Role This is a career-defining role. Metagenics is launching, first-to-market product that will redefine a category — and we're looking for a bold, entrepreneurial leader to bring it to life. As Director, New Business, you will own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution for this high-profile launch. You'll build a new business from the ground up — with the scientific credibility, resources, and global reach of an established company behind you. From shaping the brand to standing up the commercial infrastructure, this is a true 0-to-1 leadership opportunity with enterprise-wide visibility. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, product launch leadership, or general management — preferably at a CPG, consumer health, nutraceutical, wellness, or DTC brand.
  • A proven track record of launching products or businesses from 0 to 1 and scaling them to meaningful commercial success in a digital environment.
  • Deep cross-functional fluency: you've owned P&Ls, partnered with creative and digital teams, built channel strategies, and collaborated closely with operations, supply chain, and finance leaders.
  • Strong digital and e-commerce acumen, including firsthand experience overseeing website builds, DTC infrastructure, and performance marketing.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using analytics to steer strategy and improve outcomes.
  • Exceptional leadership presence — able to hire, inspire, and develop high-performing teams while rolling up your sleeves when the moment calls for it.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Go-to-Market Strategy. Define, develop, and execute the full GTM roadmap for a first-to-market product — including positioning, pricing, segmentation, launch sequencing, and commercial readiness. You'll be the single-threaded leader of the launch and the single point of accountability for its success.
  • Build and Lead a High-Performing Team. Lead a cross-functional team responsible for driving the launch across every touchpoint. You'll set the vision, raise the bar, and create an environment where great people do the best work of their careers.
  • Shape Brand Positioning and Storytelling. Partner with marketing, creative, and product teams to craft a compelling brand narrative, value proposition, and messaging architecture that resonates with target audiences and differentiates us in the market.
  • Stand Up the Digital Experience. Oversee website build, e-commerce setup, and digital experience end-to-end — from site architecture and content strategy to launch readiness, conversion optimization, and ongoing iteration.
  • Design and Operationalize Channel Strategy. Establish channel operations across DTC, practitioner, retail, and/or digital partners — including partner onboarding, order-to-cash processes, fulfillment, promotional mechanics, and channel economics.
  • Establish KPIs, Reporting, and Analytics. Partnering with finance, you will build the measurement framework, dashboards, and performance reporting cadence to track launch metrics, optimize in-market performance, and surface insights that inform executive decision-making.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and IT to ensure seamless execution across the enterprise. You'll be a force multiplier — the person who gets things unstuck.
  • Solve Problems Creatively. Anticipate risks, remove obstacles, and make sharp, decisive trade-offs in a fast-moving, fluid environment where the playbook doesn't yet exist — because you'll be the one writing it.
