Business Development Coordinator

Socha Capital•Austin, TX
•$60,000 - $75,000•Remote

About The Position

Socha Capital is hiring a Business Development Coordinator to manage the prospect journey for its wealth management firm, from inbound lead response through screening, scheduling, meeting preparation, notes, follow-up, document collection, and signed paperwork. The role also manages the CEO’s calendar so his time is focused on the meetings that matter most. The firm serves entrepreneurs, business builders, and executives and reports aggregate client value of more than $5 billion. This is a results-measured client development role for someone who is confident on the phone, takes ownership of processes end to end, and can turn new leads into prepared, well-attended meetings. The position is remote and Austin-based, with occasional in-person work. It requires availability to respond to high-value prospect inquiries in the evening when needed, rather than a predictable 9-to-5 schedule. Compensation is a $60,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience and demonstrated results, plus $10,000–$30,000 in annual incentives paid quarterly and tied to performance measures. Total target compensation is $70,000–$105,000. Benefits include a health reimbursement arrangement and unlimited PTO with approval. The role offers direct exposure to how a high-performing wealth firm wins and serves clients, with opportunities for more responsibility as the employee proves themselves.

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills for concise, clear, and accurate meeting briefs and follow-up emails.
  • Comfort with technology and AI tools, including note-taking and summarizing tools, Microsoft 365, Teams, and DocuSign.
  • Precision while working quickly and ability to catch important details.
  • Availability to handle high-value prospect inquiries in the evening when they arise.
  • Warm, polished, professional presence with executives and affluent clients.
  • Ability to take direct feedback and act on it, own mistakes and fix them, work independently, and take initiative.
  • Willingness to be measured on results and to work beyond a predictable 9-to-5 schedule when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in wealth management, private banking, luxury real estate, or another high-end service business.

  • Block time on the CEO’s calendar for meeting homework and attach the materials he needs.
  • Build and maintain a prospect folder for every lead.
  • Prepare a concise brief before each sales meeting covering the prospect, their needs, prior discussions, and what the CEO must decide or deliver.
  • Process notes from every prospect meeting within 24 hours, using approved AI tools where appropriate.
  • Capture specific data points, pain points, and open questions, and incorporate them into the next prep brief and CRM.
  • Own meeting follow-up, including next steps, promised materials, and reminders.
  • Request, track, organize, and follow up on prospect documents until they are received and filed.
  • Prepare and send DocuSign packages and track them through completion.
