About The Position

Venture Solar is hiring a Business Development Consultant. This is not a lead generation role involving door-knocking or cold calling. We are seeking experienced sales representatives who are closers with a proven track record of success in sales and are looking for the right environment to thrive. Our appointment setting teams will schedule qualified appointments for you to meet with homeowners and close deals using the best combination of products, services, and our industry-leading track record. We approach the sales process in solar as educational, understanding that switching to solar is an emotional decision for homeowners. Therefore, we focus on ensuring our customers fully understand not only how solar works but also the financial incentives available to help pay for their project, making it seem less "too good to be true".

Requirements

  • Sales experience - Required
  • Willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Outside sales (In home sales) - preferred
  • Solar experience – welcomed

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners to close sales.
