About The Position

Ridgeview Institute is looking for a highly skilled Business Development/Community Liaison. This role is responsible for maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development systems. The position ensures the establishment of community relationships in the field, developing new accounts and markets in employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/Licensed Practitioners, and managed care segments, as directed by the Director of Business Development. The liaison will develop a designated number of qualified business development contacts per week, maintain an account management list, and actively participate in problem-solving with established community relationships and facility staff to ensure issues are resolved during a patient's stay and upon discharge. This role involves ongoing contact with primary accounts through personal visits, telephone calls, and mailers to build trust, monitoring referrals and admissions to plan strategies for maximizing referral potential, and maintaining current awareness of industry changes through self-education, peer education, and professional/community involvement.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred.
  • Must possess a Georgia State license in social work or clinical related mental health field (RN, LPC, & LCSW).
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
