About The Position

i3 is searching for a Business Development / Capture SME to join our team! Coordinates business development and capture management strategies for a specific opportunity/pursuit, as assigned by management. Included are strategies for teaming, solution (technical, management, cost) development, proposal staffing/development, etc. Leads the development, implementation, and successful execution of these winning capture and business development strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
Minimum 22 years of relevant experience.
Experience building strategic business partnerships.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Secret Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results.
Be extremely organized and exceptionally detail oriented.

Experience and/or knowledge with data analytics and business intelligence is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the acquisition process effort for business opportunities, while developing and implementing the capture plan, and orchestrate all capture activities during the proposal phase and post-submittal activities.
Drives strategic business decision making through detailed analytics, insights that yield strategic objective results.
Build and deepen executive relationships with strategic customer base.
Optimizes the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools and analytic data that add value to the business development team and feeds i3’s strategic objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
