POSITION SUMMARY Sanderson Firm is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst I to support our Business Development and National Account Management teams. Reporting to the AVP, National Account Management, this entry-level role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our CRM and sales databases, researching prospective clients, managing business development data, and providing accurate reporting and analysis that supports our continued growth. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, enjoys working with data, has exceptional attention to detail, and thrives in an environment where organization and accuracy are critical.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, sales support, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, or CRM systems is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of Salesforce through ongoing auditing, cleansing, and validation.
  • Manage bounced email lists by researching and updating contact information.
  • Import, export, merge, and maintain prospect and client data within Salesforce.
  • Ensure account ownership, territories, and contact records remain accurate and current.
  • Perform routine data quality audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other research tools to identify prospective clients and key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists for the Business Development team.
  • Research organizational structures, leadership changes, mergers, acquisitions, and other business intelligence that may generate new business opportunities.
  • Verify and maintain accurate contact information.
  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets used to support business development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports related to prospecting activity, CRM data quality, and sales metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Support territory planning and account assignments through data analysis.
  • Monitor client portal for accuracy.
  • Assist with CRM maintenance and list management.
  • Support Business Development and National Account Management initiatives through accurate data management.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
