About The Position

Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States. Product lines include structural block, interlocking paving stones, engineered wall systems, retaining walls, ornamental and garden products, and a full range of sack goods. We are a proud member of the Pacific Coast Building Products Family of Companies. Under the supervision of the VP – National Retail & Marketing, this position supports companywide initiatives to grow sales and develop new products; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Four Year College degree in business, marketing, accounting, finance or similar degree.
  • At least 2 years plus of related job experience in retail, manufacturing or similar service industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required.
  • Strong math and analytical skills needed to be successful in position.
  • Strong Computer and Microsoft office programs proficiency required (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce, SAP and other similar programs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost reductions, revenue growth opportunities, and improvements in sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
  • Lead generation and pipeline management, including CRM optimization to track prospects and sales activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, operations and finance to create and implement new growth strategies.
  • Client relationship management, serving as an important contact for key clients and partners, and ensuring effective communication.
  • Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Support proposal drafting, contract negotiations and deal closures to secure favorable business agreements.
  • Carry, mix and work with products in the field to demonstrate use and to fully understand usage for product development needs.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies; and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
