About The Position

Contributes to the achievement of annual revenue and profit targets by supporting the implementation of branding and promotional strategies. Builds and maintains customer relationships to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and retention. Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company standard products, services, and solutions within a designated geography or industry. Consults customers and attends to their needs, queries, and complaints; records and manages direct customer feedback. Focuses on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Continuously monitors market trends and engages in sales negotiations. This role represents tier 1 of 4.

Requirements

  • University education (bachelor's degree) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional experience of 1-2 years.
  • Proven experience in a business-to-business (B2B) sales environment.
  • Strong sales focus with the ability to move key opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Effective consultative, conceptual and negotiation skills.
  • Disciplined and results-oriented approach to selling.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to influence situations and people.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently/remotely.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proficient with standard MS Office applications.
  • Proficiency with company technology devices (Laptop, iPad, iPhone, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Rx sales, the optical industry, medical devices, or retail operations.
  • Educational background or professional experience in the optical industry (e.g., opticianry or related fields).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com.
