About The Position

We’re seeking a true 'hunter’ Business Developer who thrives on prospecting, uncovering new opportunities, and winning new business. This is not an account management role; it’s about forging new relationships, generating leads, and closing deals to drive growth. You’ll be in the field daily, actively searching for commercial property prospects, presenting customized solutions, and securing long-term landscape maintenance contracts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (landscaping, facilities, or service industry preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Act as a hunter by aggressively identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the commercial landscaping market
  • Conduct cold calls, site visits, and attend networking events to build a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Build strong relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial property owners, and decision-makers
  • Develop and present custom maintenance solutions and proposals
  • Collaborate with operations and estimating teams on pricing and service planning
  • Track all activity in CRM software and submit weekly progress reports
  • Ensure a smooth handoff to account management and field teams
