The Business Data Analyst will collaborate with clients, end users, and other stakeholders to assess usability needs, requirements, and specifications for the requested program or data application. Continue to develop all data applications and data warehouses to provide relevant and accurate information.

Requirements

  • Minimum two to three years related work experience; or combination of experience, training, education, or certification.
  • SQL server database knowledge including stored procedures.
  • Proficient in Power Bi, specifically with visualization and representations; Linux or .NET to develop or manipulate ETL pipelines for data warehousing.
  • Highly proficient with or ability to learn coding languages used in organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to derive insights from complex datasets
  • Strong Initiative to work on own as well as in a team environment; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Power Bi to analyze complex data sets, craft insightful visualizations, and provide stakeholders with valuable data to drive decision making.
  • Analyzes existing program logic to troubleshoot malfunctions and modifies logic to eliminate issues and increase operational efficiency.
  • Designs and programs applications and software to meet identified needs.
  • Performs diagnostic testing on programs, which may include running diagnostic software to detect syntax or logic errors.
  • Prepares proposals that include flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate steps and logical operations to be used for training users.
