This role serves as the primary finance partner to Life Sciences business leaders, offering financial insights to guide strategic, operational, and investment decisions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls in a regulated environment.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering or financial leadership roles and leading or supporting the adoption of digital tools, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions within Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analysis for key business initiatives, commercial deals, investments in manufacturing, technology, commercialization strategies, pricing, margin optimization and ROIC expansion.
  • Develop financial models, scenarios, and sensitivities to assess risks and opportunities across the product lines in Life Sciences.
  • Support long-range planning, annual operating plans, and rolling forecasts, aligning financial objectives with Life Sciences business strategy.
  • Support evaluation of make/buy decisions, capital investments, and capacity planning aligned with Life Sciences growth strategies.
  • Champion the adoption of digital tools, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions within Finance to improve forecasting accuracy, scenario modeling, and business decision support for Life Sciences teams.
  • Partner with Finance Transformation, IT, and business stakeholders to identify and implement automation and AI use cases (e.g., forecasting, variance analysis, performance dashboards), driving efficiency, scalability, and insight generation.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members supporting the Life Sciences business, fostering strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Act as a mentor and thought leader within the finance organization, sharing best practices and driving capability building.
