This job is responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include executing LOB or ECF processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation, and building out actions plans and milestones. The candidate will support the Platform Risk & Tactical Response Team, responsibilities include working with teams to facilitate and execute deliverables related to Specialized Consumer Client Solutions Third Party Management, Onboarding and evaluation vendor relationships. . This role is critical in ensuring audit readiness, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving consistent execution across end-to-end engagement activities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, proactive problem solver, and experienced in managing complex regulatory and audit interactions. The BCM will provide support of third-party dependencies within SCCS and may include members from Global Third Party Program, FLU Third Party Engagement managers and FLU Third Party Executives. This role will maintain the relationship between the enterprise and a third party that provides a product or service to the enterprise. A business function may depend on critical third parties to operate. Business Function Experts work with Third party experts to ensure third party critical dependencies/enablers are identified, workarounds are considered and documented, and replacement strategies are documented.

  • Strong organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be proficient in advanced MS Excel functions, PowerPoint, Word

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Specialized Consumer Client Solutions Third Party Management & Vendor relationships to enterprise-wide standards
  • Work closely with Business Continuity partners, FLU Leader SMEs, TPEMS, and EVMS to identify vendor risk, criticality and available workarounds and/or exit strategy.
  • Manage vendor performance, mitigate risk and maintain controls per enterprise standards.
  • Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
  • Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
  • Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews
  • Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting
  • Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews
  • Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting
