About The Position
Peraton is seeking a Business Continuity Exercise Planner to support administration of multifaceted support to mission areas. The role provides strategic planning, business planning, briefing and reporting preparation, and other System Integration support. The planner develops and executes COOP exercises, facilitates workforce training, briefs senior customer leadership, and works with the customer to refine exercise planning and execution goals. The position also develops exercise plans and supporting materials, documents planning and meetings, assesses continuity plans and related directives, and supports continuity training and recurring exercises.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with relevant polygraph.
- Eight years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or six years of experience with a master's degree.
- Five years of professional IC experience in the customer space.
- Three or more years of COOP business analytical experience.
- Four additional years of experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and execute COOP exercises.
- Facilitate training for the workforce.
- Brief upper-level customer leadership.
- Work with the customer to refine exercise planning and execution goals.
- Prepare planning documentation and delivery materials, facilitate exercises, and produce after-action reports.
- Draft an annual exercise strategy and plan, including exercise planning goals, objectives, methodology, and a calendar of proposed exercises.
- Participate in and document exercise planning, including meeting minutes, exercise design, workflow, after-action reporting, and corrective action planning.
- Assess COOP plans, OPORDS, OPLANS, and issuances to develop draft COOP strategy documents.
- Assist with administrative functions of COOP planning for events and exercises.
- Assist with continuity training and exercise requirements, develop continuity exercise curriculum, and support bi-annual, annual, and frequent continuity exercises.
