About The Position

The Business Banking Underwriter II - Practice Finance is responsible for underwriting Business Banking loans to determine credit worthiness and compliance with Bank lending policy. This role supports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of work. The underwriter reviews all financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions for loans typically of moderate complexity and customer exposure up to $2,500M. They utilize single approval authority up to $2MM and appropriately assess the risk profile of the borrower. Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family are also part of the role, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelors degree
3+years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
