About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Business Banker in Consumer Banking and Lending to build, maintain, and grow relationships with business banking clients. The role manages a portfolio of low- to moderately complex business clients, typically with $500,000 to $2 million in annual sales, and owns the client journey from onboarding through relationship deepening and new-client acquisition. The banker delivers a client-centric experience and helps position Wells Fargo as a trusted partner. The position involves understanding clients’ goals, operations, and financial needs; recommending suitable financial solutions; and offering business accounts, credit, treasury services, and digital tools. The banker prospects and networks with internal and external partners to generate referrals, collaborates across banking channels, and partners with Relationship Managers and Lending Officers on complex structures. The role also has customer contact related to dwelling-secured products: it may include assessing needs and referring interested customers to a SAFE team member, but does not involve taking applications or offering or negotiating transaction terms. This Loan Originator (LO) position requires registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the employee’s start date. The employee must meet applicable Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification standards and ongoing regulatory requirements. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Banker placements may be within 10 miles of the branch to which the candidate applies.
