Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Banker in Consumer Banking and Lending to build, maintain, and grow relationships with business banking clients in branches. The role involves frequent client interactions to understand and meet their needs, manage a portfolio of low- to moderately complex business clients—typically with $500,000 to $2 million in annual sales—and own the client journey from onboarding through relationship growth and new-client acquisition. The Business Banker delivers a branded, client-centric experience and works to position Wells Fargo as a trusted partner. The role provides tailored financial recommendations and offers business accounts, credit, treasury services, and digital tools. The banker prospects and networks to develop client relationships and referrals, collaborates with internal banking channels, and partners with Relationship Managers and Lending Officers on complex structures. This Loan Originator position may include assessing customer needs and referring customers interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member, but does not involve taking applications or offering or negotiating terms for such transactions. The role requires Loan Originator registration at employment and compliance with applicable regulatory and Wells Fargo qualification requirements, including financial responsibility, character, financial fitness, and criminal background standards. The position is based at 4648 Mission St., San Francisco, California; banker placements may be within a 10-mile radius of the branch. It is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
