Requirements

Knowledge of automation assessment, lifecycle methodologies and documentation best practices
Experience with various automation and productivity tools
Skilled in the use of low code technology and the development of automation solutions
Active listener and strong communication skills (both verbally and in writing)
Proactive in building relationships with business partners
Organized and willing to do administrative tasks
Ability to use good research, data, and judgment when solving problems or making recommendations
Ability to demonstrate integrity in the management of work demands and pressures
Ability to continually pursue personal development
Committed to being a self-starter, able to operate efficiently within given parameters and deadlines
Committed to having a growth mindset and the ability to learn and adapt
Proven track record of solving difficult problems in an enterprise environment required
3 years of demonstrated experience as a business analyst or similar role required

Nice To Haves

Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification preferred
Automation certification in Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism or UiPath preferred
Knowledge of GM Financial or another auto finance company core business functions, policies and procedures a plus
1 year working on automation or other technology initiatives as a business analyst or other applicable role preferred
Experience working with both the business and IT to deliver business value preferred

Responsibilities

Assess current business processes to identify automation and agentic AI opportunities
Facilitate process discovery and process mapping activities
Evaluate operational pain points and inefficiencies
Recommend automation, AI, process improvement, or data-driven solutions
Build business cases and value assessments for transformation initiatives
Partner with business teams to prioritize opportunities and define future-state processes
