About The Position

This is an internship role for the 2026 class, focused on beginning a rewarding career in electrical construction. The Business Associate reports directly to the project leader and requires the ability to build relationships both in and out of the office. The core responsibility is to continue learning through on-the-job experience while gaining new responsibilities.

Requirements

Relevant business degree
Strong computer & Microsoft Suite skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Commitment to developing time management and organizational skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.

Understand Miller Electric’s service-based approach to the electrical project management process.
Build long-term relationships with clients and fellow employees by earning trust through diligent communication and a high-quality work ethic.
Work with the team to ensure projects are built following design, budget, and schedule.
Support project management teams through a business support function.
