About The Position

The IT Business Applications Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the organization’s core business systems and applications. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure systems run efficiently, securely, and align with business needs. The ideal candidate has strong technical abilities, experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, and a proactive approach to system improvements and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience administering and supporting enterprise business systems.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, integrations, SSO/SAML, AI tools and identity management.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato, Power Automate, or similar).
  • Proficiency with SQL, APIs, or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI tools, API, Scripting, Python, SSO-OKTA, ERP, CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), Workday, ITSM toolset.
  • Background in system implementation or cross-functional project leadership.
  • Knowledge of data governance, reporting tools, or BI platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and user experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain business applications and systems such as IT Systems and AI tools , SaaS Platforms, HRIS, ITSM, and financial systems.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for system issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Manage user provisioning, permissions, access controls, and security configurations.
  • Implement system upgrades, patches, and integrations across business platforms.
  • Analyze business needs and design technical solutions that streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Build, test, and deploy enhancements, customizations, and automation using APIs, low-code/no-code tools, or scripts.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across systems and integrations.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, workflows, and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
  • Support data migrations, imports/exports, and cross-system synchronization.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead small to medium-size projects related to system implementation, optimization, or consolidation.
  • Document processes, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain system security standards, policies, and audit requirements.
  • Assist in compliance efforts (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.) as they relate to business applications.
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
