About The Position

The Business & Talent Development Coordinator will be responsible for managing the paperwork, training, and onboarding processes for new hires. This role involves launching background and drug testing, requesting technology, and communicating with hiring managers regarding first-day schedules. The coordinator will also assist in scheduling, organizing accommodations, charges, and paperwork for Career Fairs and the Internship program. Additionally, this position supports the coordination of corporate initiatives and training goals, such as OSHA-30 and Healthcheck 360, and assists with division initiatives and administrative tasks, including maintaining schedules, correspondence, and logs for the Director. This role also shares responsibilities for the Employee Engagement Committee with the Office Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience in Administrative, Education, Corporate Training, or Human Resource background
  • Experience working with personnel and confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, CDM, Adobe Acrobat and other specific applications
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, clients, and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • Must be a forward thinker with good preplanning skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Effective in a team environment and adaptable
  • Organizational skills required
  • Two (2) – four (4) years of Administrative Experience preferably in the commercial construction field
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) is required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in business is preferred
