About The Position

The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a full-time lecturer to teach Business and General Education courses in the spring 2027 semester. The business teaching assignment includes Business Admin: Operations and Analytics 2321, held in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from approximately 2:20 to 3:40 p.m., and potentially other business courses focused on staffing and leadership. The remainder of the lecturer’s 100% FTE load will be devoted to General Education 1201 courses.

The lecturer will facilitate in-class learning activities; develop and deliver courses in formats that may include classroom, online, or hybrid instruction; contribute to creating and improving course content; assess student learning through quizzes, exams, and homework as applicable; offer weekly office hours; submit grades; and resolve ongoing student or course issues.

Requirements

• MBA.
• Experience teaching business courses at the undergraduate level.
• Experience teaching courses that rely on student self-reflection and forward thinking.
• Experience teaching both in-person and online courses.
