About The Position
The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a part-time semester lecturer to teach Business Administration Finance 3500: Legal Environment of Business in Spring 2027. The course meets in person during the second seven-week session, beginning March 7, 2027, on Thursdays from 11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The instructor facilitates in-class learning activities; administers assessments such as quizzes, exams, and applicable homework; offers weekly office hours; submits grades; and resolves ongoing student or course issues. Performance objectives include developing and delivering courses in classroom, online, or hybrid formats and contributing to the creation and improvement of course content.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching this course at the university level or working in a field that provides a deep understanding of law and business and transferable skills.
- J.D. degree.
