About The Position

Associated Wholesale Grocers is seeking a business management, business analysis, or similar student for its 2027 Summer Internship on the Merchandising Strategies & Support (MSS) Team. The intern will gain direct experience analyzing sales data, market trends, and supply chain performance. The team works to optimize product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory management.

This is a 10-week, full-time internship requiring 40 hours per week, with overtime possible as needed and regular, reliable attendance throughout the program. The internship runs from May 25, 2027, through July 30, 2027. The work environment is business casual. The hourly pay is $21. Interns will have opportunities to connect with colleagues across AWG, gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment, and present their insights to the Executive Leadership Team. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time employment.

Requirements

• Be a student majoring in business management, business analysis, or a similar field.
• Have solid communication skills.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Be willing to ask questions and follow up.
• Show initiative and enthusiasm for learning, and be able to follow direction.
• Have an interest in supply chain management, logistics, and the grocery field.
• Commit to a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 10-week internship, with overtime as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance throughout the program.

Nice To Haves

• Junior- or senior-level students are preferred.
• Recent grades are acceptable.
