About The Position

As a Business Analyst at Gainwell, you will use technology and business analysis to help clients improve health and human services outcomes. You will analyze and improve business processes, translate client needs into business requirements, and work across clients, project managers, and technical personnel. You will also support testing and participate in project reviews to ensure the intended changes are delivered. This is a fully remote opportunity within the Continental United States.

Requirements

At least three years of experience translating technical goals and requirements into actionable outcomes for clients.
Knowledge of basic computer programming concepts, including configuration, development, and batch processing.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other software used for quantitative analysis.
Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills.
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills for communicating with business leaders, clients, and technical personnel.

Responsibilities

Analyze, plan, design, and document business processes, and recommend improvements that support clients’ technological goals.
Bridge clients, project managers, and technical personnel by defining, tracking, and communicating business requirements and their expected impact.
Build basic conceptual data and process models.
Create, execute, or analyze basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are reflected in system design.
Participate in technical reviews and inspections throughout project phases to ensure the intent of changes is carried out.
