About The Position

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across various departments including Transportation, Operations Planning, Finance, Distribution, and IT to gather requirements and support the development, testing, and implementation of system solutions. The Business Analyst will apply supply chain expertise to ensure that delivered processes and system solutions meet business needs and are sustainable for front-line operational teams. A key aspect of the role is developing a strong understanding of system enhancements delivered through the TMS optimization program. The position also supports testing by confirming system configuration performance against documented requirements and user acceptance criteria, and manages assigned activities in line with enhancement timelines and detailed design. Additionally, the role leads implementation activities with impacted stakeholders, providing updates, responding to inquiries, and supporting training delivery. The Business Analyst will also create and enhance training materials, perform data and process analysis to inform insights, and support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Some foundational skills in SQL development and enhancements, with solid business and technical acumen.
  • Outcome focused, critical thinker who is confident working in different systems with large amounts of information.
  • Positive and collaborative team player, comfortable making objective decisions as part of a larger team, as well as independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating and delivering training content is an asset.
  • 3 to 5 years in a logistics or supply chain related capacity is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Responsibilities
