About The Position

The Business Analyst facilitates assigned projects by serving as a liaison between cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. The Business Analyst plays a vital role in the organization by acting as a bridge between cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. In this capacity, they analyze business systems and operational needs to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency. They are responsible for documenting requirements and helping design solutions that align with overall business strategies. By reviewing and interpreting data, the Business Analyst develops actionable plans and provides practical, results-driven recommendations. Additionally, they communicate insights and proposed solutions to key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support successful implementation. Through data analytics and strategic planning, the Business Analyst contributes to maximizing productivity and overall operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analytics management, finance, or related field of study.
  • At least one to two years of previous experience in business development or a related field with a focus on process improvement, data analysis, or relationship management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable public speaking.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
  • Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.

  • Minor, certification and/or prior experience in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Track all external engagements, keep CRM up-to-date, and ensure no engagements are missed.
  • Summarize and report engagements to Management; communicate with external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Sr VP to manage engagements with potential customers and partners.
  • Determine how to prioritize team time and engagements to maximize impact.
  • Determine team objectives by studying the business landscape and output requirements.
  • Validate resource requirements and develop cost-estimate models.
  • Plan and coordinate primary and secondary market research; present findings to support strategy and marketing.
  • Conduct financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support business planning.
  • Interpret and integrate research data into business analyses and projections.
  • Define project engagements: set milestones, form teams, establish timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress: track activity, resolve problems, publish progress reports, and recommend actions.
  • Determine how project changes affect business and systems.
  • Actively participate in implementing approved changes.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities and write specifications.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries about system inputs, processes, and outputs.
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Recommend controls and improved procedures by identifying problems.
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly reviews and analyses of engagements using operational metrics and reports.
  • Create informative, actionable, repeatable reports highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct insightful ad-hoc analyses to investigate operational issues.
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintain a library of model documents, templates, and reusable knowledge assets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand needs and support solutions.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in areas as assigned by Company Officials, Directors, Managers, Engineers, or other personnel.
  • Strong commitment to safety required; comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety rules (safe work practices, hazard communication, PPE).
  • Follow all company policies, guidelines, and handbook directives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Maintain acceptable cleanliness in the work area.
  • Able to perform physical activities (lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, standing, reaching, climbing, walking, sitting).
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
