Requirements

  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification related to project management, organizational development or policy analysis.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, finance, political science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work related to project management, organizational development or policy analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a division business analyst, providing operational, policy and organizational guidance across business lines.
  • Lead and support special projects and workgroups by preparing agendas, facilitating meetings and ensuring timely follow through on deliverables.
  • Develop, write and maintain division wide policies and procedures ensuring alignment with agency goals and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and track division initiatives, apply project management methods to monitor progress, assess risk and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct research and analysis on transportation related topics and communicate findings clearly to staff, leadership and external partners.
  • Support organizational development and process improvement efforts using change management and quality improvement tools.
  • Serve as senior level resources for cross functional projects, provide guidance, documentation and issue resolution when needed.
  • Facilitate strategic engagement forums and committees.
  • Ensure productive conversations, engagement and actionable outcomes.
