About The Position

Turing is hiring a Business Analyst to work on projects that fine-tune large language models (LLMs). The role uses analytical skills and English comprehension to answer analytical questions and create scenarios that help train and improve LLMs. Work includes reading, summarizing, and breaking down content into logical blocks; researching online and validating claims; and working with LLMs to solve puzzles. The projects also provide an opportunity to learn how to use AI to become a better analyst. The position is described as fully remote freelance work. Potential contract extensions may be available depending on performance and project needs.

Requirements

Ability to read and write English with a high degree of comprehension.
Good research and analytical skills.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Desktop or laptop setup with a good internet connection.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or undergraduate studies in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field; candidates without a bachelor's degree may be considered if they have relevant experience.
Professional writing experience, such as business analysis, research analysis, copywriting, journalism, technical writing, editing, or translation.
Understanding of Excel and Google Suite.
Proficiency in data interpretation, logical reasoning, and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

Answer analytical questions and create scenarios to train LLM models.
Articulate correct answers and explanations for questions that models may get wrong.
Read, summarize, and break down large content into smaller logical blocks.
Conduct online research and validate claims made in content.
Work with large language models to solve puzzles.
Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
