About The Position

This role requires a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive experience in research, analysis, costing, forecasting, and modeling to support management decision-making. The analyst will be responsible for performing business analysis, including trend analysis, forecasting, and compensation models, consolidating stakeholder input with data analysis, and presenting findings to management. A significant portion of the experience should be within the healthcare sector, involving complex business policy and program analyses, leading teams in large-scale business transformation programs, and implementing change within healthcare environments, including EHR solutions.

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience conducting research, analysis, costing, forecasting and modeling to support management decision-making, and performing business analysis including trend analysis, forecasting and compensation models.
  • At least 3 examples of research, analysis, costing, forecasting and modeling experience, with project titles and durations totaling at least 10 years. At least 2 examples must be in the Healthcare Sector.
  • 5 years’ experience with complex business policy and program analyses requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in data analysis, costing, forecasting and modelling.
  • At least 2 examples of complex business policy and program analyses experience, with project titles and durations totaling at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
  • 5 years’ experience directly leading analysts or business consultants in large-scale business transformation programs composed of multiple concurrent projects.
  • At least 2 examples of lead analyst/consultant experience, with project titles and durations totaling at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed, focusing on planning, quality review, and coaching.
  • Experience managing analysis for planning, business case development, financial modeling, and/or value stream mapping.
  • 5 years’ experience implementing change in a healthcare environment.
  • At least 2 examples of healthcare change implementation experience, with project titles and durations totaling at least 5 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
  • Experience including analysis/assessments of healthcare service delivery activities and assisting the business through change and transformation.
  • 3 years’ experience implementing EHR solutions – with a focus on Patient Registration & Clinical Documentation.
  • At least 1 example of EHR implementation experience, with project title and duration totaling at least 3 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
  • Experience including analysis of workflows to align with provincial healthcare standards and assisting with system configuration to support clinical workflows, training, and compliance.
  • Valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification.
  • Post secondary degree in business administration, finance or public administration.
  • Scrum Master certification.

Responsibilities

  • Implement change in a healthcare environment, including analysis/assessments of healthcare service delivery activities.
  • Assist the business through change and transformation.
  • Implement EHR solutions, focusing on Patient Registration & Clinical Documentation.
  • Analyze workflows to align with provincial healthcare standards.
  • Assist with system configuration to support clinical workflows, training, and compliance.
