About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting Home Mortgage by working closely with the SVP/Director of Loan Operations in providing analytical and research services, coordinating system and document changes, creating documentary support, and conducting data collection while serving as a lending resource for internal staff. This position will coordinate with multiple partners on projects and demonstrate an ability to work across business units to ensure compliance; maintain a strong understanding of lending production, policies and procedures; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; and pursue technology information to provide improved service delivery. This position is also a Product Owner role in the Product Management Council (PMC). As a Product Owner they are responsible for the vision of their product(s) and prioritization of the capabilities implemented. They are responsible for the communication across all stakeholders, researching other businesses in the industry to create and execute their vision for their product(s), as well as owning their product’s roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field or four years of equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of business analyst experience.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance rules and regulations pertaining to Consumer Lending.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Comfortable speaking in a group setting.
  • Highly-developed interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment.
  • Well-developed skills in verbal, presentation and written communication.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to remain current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
  • Analytically inclined by understanding the importance of data to make key business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a complex, competitive, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively delegate, and set deadlines.
  • Ability to perform analysis, define new processes and drive technology initiatives and projects independently and in a team setting.
  • Maintains awareness of enterprise compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML) obligations, and follows internal policies and escalation protocols as applicable.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
