About The Position

The Business Analyst role is a highly visible position within the Sales department, working closely with top leaders and various cross-functional teams. This specialized role offers numerous challenges and opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and sales productivity. The Business Analyst supports Field Sales and other Sales functions by providing fact-based data for informed decision-making and recommendations. Additionally, the role involves undertaking various projects that utilize sales analysis to identify sustainable and profitable solutions, with the opportunity to lead the company in exciting directions through detailed research.

Requirements

  • Must be local and willing to be onsite in Lisle, IL
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to management or business partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of how data-driven decisions impact business performance.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets, managing ambiguity, and translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to present data and insights in a compelling, easy-to-understand manner for various audiences.
  • Experience with dashboard design and business intelligence/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Willingness and ability to relocate within the U.S. for future career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver routine sales reports, ad hoc analyses, and in-depth assessments of sales, market share, and distribution trends to highlight performance opportunities and risks.
  • Provide actionable insights to support the Manager and regional leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain clear, impactful sales presentations and supporting materials for retailer meetings, strategic planning sessions, and internal communications.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing use of AI-driven tools and processes in daily and weekly workflows to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Assist in training regional teams and management on performance monitoring tools, helping them better understand competitive threats and market dynamics.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the one-year strategic plan (1YP) for the Regional Sales department, supporting growth and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Help foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making by promoting the use of key metrics and insights across the team.
