About The Position

The purpose of the role is to support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. The Assistant Vice President expectations include advising and influencing decision-making, contributing to policy development, and taking responsibility for operational effectiveness. This role involves collaborating closely with other functions/business divisions, leading a team performing complex tasks, and setting objectives and coaching employees. For an individual contributor, they will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members, identify the need for other specializations, and identify new directions for assignments or projects. They will consult on complex issues, provide advice to People Leaders, identify ways to mitigate risk, and develop new policies/procedures. This role requires understanding how different areas coordinate and contribute to organizational objectives, collaborating with other areas to stay updated on business activity and strategy, engaging in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively, and communicating complex information effectively. Requirements

  • Minimum Salary: $115,000 per year
  • Maximum Salary: $155,000 per year
  • Experience in designing and developing solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
  • Experience in directing the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems.
  • Experience in evaluating existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes.
  • Experience in identifying system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
  • Experience in optimizing systems and applications to perform analyses to improve processes.
  • Experience in developing intuitive user interfaces for applications.
  • Experience in installation, testing, and maintenance of existing and new systems.
  • Experience in researching, testing, or verifying proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
  • Experience in performing security analyses of developed or packaged software components.
  • Experience in providing technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
  • Experience in evaluating current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organization.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organization.
  • Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns, and develop application-specific hardware.
  • Direct the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems, and evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.
