About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Business Analyst in Austin, TX, with an estimated duration of 12 months and possible extensions. The work setting is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week onsite. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs to inform solution design and process improvements. The Business Analyst will apply comprehensive business analysis knowledge and best practices to elicit, document, and manage requirements across the project lifecycle. They will also participate in software development reviews, provide expert guidance, and perform or support various testing phases. Planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple assignments with high accuracy and adherence to deadlines are key. Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies is essential for driving structured, efficient, and compliant delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs (8 years)
  • Experience with business analysis areas of knowledge and its associated activities and tasks (8 years)
  • Experience participating in software development reviews and providing advice and assistance to other team members in analysis, design, and test (8 years)
  • Experience performing in unit testing, support system testing, and user acceptance testing (8 years)
  • Experience in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy (8 years)
  • Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies (8 years)

  • Experience in effective verbal and written communications with both IT and business professionals and clients (8 years)
  • Experience creating user focused technical or instructional documentation (2 years)

Responsibilities

  • Work 100% on-site at the Client’s designated location to support direct collaboration and project execution
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to inform solution design and process improvements
  • Apply comprehensive business analysis knowledge and best practices to elicit, document, and manage requirements across the project lifecycle
  • Participate in software development reviews and provide expert guidance to team members on analysis, design, and testing activities
  • Perform or support unit, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet functional and business requirements
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent assignments with high accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Apply expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies to drive structured, efficient, and compliant delivery
