About The Position

This is a temporary, hybrid role for a Business Analyst in Austin, TX, with an estimated duration of 12 months and possible extensions. The position requires a strong background in business analysis and related technology fields. Candidates must be able to relocate as required to be considered for future opportunities. The role involves gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, developing documentation, facilitating collaboration, supporting Agile practices, identifying process improvements, and managing requirements traceability.

Requirements

• Experience with Business Analysis in the field or related technology field (5+ years)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile project management methodology/practices (5+ years)
• Experience with Understanding and documentation of use cases (2+ years)
• Experience with Process documentation mapping (2+ years)

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews
• Develop and maintain use case documentation, user stories, and functional specifications to support application and software development efforts
• Create and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, and process maps to support current-state analysis and future-state design
• Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project scope, requirements, and deliverables
• Support Agile project management practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and participation in scrum ceremonies
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Track and manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to ensure all business needs are addressed in the final solution
