We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a statewide Cloud POS Modernization initiative. This role involves leading the elicitation, analysis, and validation of various requirements, including business, functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. The Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, DMV operations, IT teams, AWS/cloud architects, and vendors. A significant part of the role will be translating modernization challenges such as PCI DSS compliance risks, duplicate charges, refund delays, device management limitations, and NFC/contactless payment issues into actionable requirements. The position requires developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process workflows, data-flow diagrams, and integration specifications. The Business Analyst will also support enterprise integration between Cloud POS systems, DMV backend systems, and financial/payment platforms, and coordinate UAT testing, pilot planning, rollout readiness, training coordination, and device deployment planning. Validation of system performance, stability, compliance alignment, and customer experience improvements is crucial. Additionally, the role involves evaluating cloud-hosted transactional systems for scalability, performance optimization, and reliability.
