About The Position

The Business Analyst of the Incentive Department is responsible for the accurate execution of recurring incentive compensation processes, including the calculation of monthly and quarterly payments, management of employee claims, and ongoing communication with participants in the incentive programs. In addition to its operational responsibilities, the role supports the design, analysis, and continuous improvement of incentive programs by delivering data-driven insights, monitoring performance, and ensuring data integrity. The Business Analyst develops reports and dashboards, performs scenario analysis and backtesting to assess financial and employee impact, and identifies risks and opportunities within the program. The role actively collaborates with business areas and communicates findings, recommendations, and constructive challenges to support informed decision-making and enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or related field is required for this position.
  • 3 years of experience in the banking industry in the areas of Financial Planning, Administration or Finance.
  • 1 year of experience in data analysis, reporting with exposure to Power Bi, SQL or similar analytical tools.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power Point
  • Communicating with sales employees in different commercial areas and collaborating with business areas
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting with exposure to Power BI, SQL or similar analytical tools.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly incentive payment calculations, including set up of new plans, system updates and validation of results
  • Manage incentive claims and provide timely guidance and communication to employees and business areas participating in the programs
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes, controls, and data quality within the incentive calculation process
  • Build and execute basic SQL queries to support data extraction, validation, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards (Power BI) to support monitoring and decision-making
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, variances, and key drivers impacting incentive results
  • Perform backtesting and scenario analysis to evaluate the financial and employee impact of incentive plans to support the validation of proposed changes
  • Prepare presentations providing performance results, insights, clear remarks and recommendations to enhance program effectiveness and alignment with business objectives
  • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights
  • Communicate risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities effectively
  • Develops and runs special projects requested by management.
  • Support implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting automation initiatives
