About The Position

The Business Analyst supports Product Managers in managing and improving payment hardware products throughout their lifecycle. This role turns business needs into clear requirements, provides data-driven insights, and helps teams stay aligned across Product, Technology, Operations, and external partners. The Business Analyst also ensures hardware is ready for launch by aligning processes, systems, and partner requirements—supporting smooth and successful hardware deployments.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in payments or fintech
  • Understanding of how payment systems work
  • Experience working with vendors or partners
  • Experience supporting large projects or rollouts
  • Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Turn business needs into clear, actionable requirements for teams
  • Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, workflows, use cases)
  • Work closely with Product Managers, technical teams, and vendors
  • Gather requirements and confirm vendor and hardware capabilities
  • Track vendor requirements, constraints, and timelines that may impact delivery
  • Evaluate vendor solutions based on performance and business fit
  • Support hardware launch readiness by aligning processes, systems, and teams
  • Document setup, configuration, logistics, and deployment needs
  • Partner with Operations and Hardware teams to prepare for launches and upgrades
  • Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies across teams and partners
  • Support issue tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution
  • Support testing to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Assist with the documentation of deployment requirements, including configuration, provisioning, logistics, certification, and support considerations
  • Partner with Hardware Services and Operations teams to validate readiness for device launches and upgrades, identifying risks and gaps
  • Assist in coordinating activities for large-scale enterprise rollouts, including pilot planning, phased deployments, and issue tracking
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and post-release reviews to ensure delivered solutions meet defined requirements and business objectives
