About The Position

The Business Analyst supports wireline engineering operations, financial planning, and data analysis at Congruex. The role contributes to forecasting, operational reporting, budgeting, cost optimization, financial visibility, cost control, and margin analysis. The analyst works with wireline engineering, accounting, strategic transformation teams, operating units, project and program stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver insights, improve processes, and identify opportunities to expand margins. The position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area and has a hybrid or in-office work setting as required by the organization. Salary is determined based on skills and experience in relation to the role, as well as equity with employees in similar roles. Congruex provides digital infrastructure solutions through engineering and construction services, including wireline, wireless, data centers, and utility services. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field, with exposure to business and financial analysis and accounting principles.
Intermediate SQL querying and/or Python programming experience.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with data center, electric, oil and gas, technology, or telecommunications sectors.
3–5 years of experience in roles involving bidding and estimating, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, or strategic planning.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Intellectual curiosity and a drive for process improvement.
Ability to optimize operational processes in a high-growth environment.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization.
Ability to work with large and complex datasets to generate insights.
Experience with ERP and data analytics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Business analytics and/or data analytics certifications, such as Google, Microsoft, or Tableau certifications (preferred, not required).
PMI certifications (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis to support monthly forecasting and operational reporting processes.
Use data visualization tools to present insights and recommendations to project and program stakeholders and executive leadership.
Assist with developing and refining the annual budget and optimizing costs.
Collaborate with the wireline engineering team to enhance financial reporting processes, financial visibility, cost control, and margin analysis.
Partner with accounting and strategic transformation teams to identify and implement new systems, best practices, and back-office efficiencies.
Work with operating units to identify performance improvement opportunities and drive margin expansion initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
