About The Position

Ariel Corporation is hiring a Business Analyst for its Computer Services Department in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The role supports users as the subject matter expert for SAP Warehouse Management, using analytical and critical-thinking skills to develop data-informed solutions and support the business in a positive, professional manner.

The Business Analyst coordinates with systems users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflows, goals, and processes. The role is the primary resource for configuration updates, system improvements, upgrades, and implementations for the Warehouse Management module. It also investigates issues, identifies improvement and update opportunities, and develops solutions to improve systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of recent full-time experience with SAP as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Developer.
• At least 2 years of SAP ABAP programming experience.
• Demonstrated experience with systems analysis principles and techniques, writing functional and technical requirements, design, testing, and program documentation.
• Understanding of SAP ECC processes, reports, and associated functionality in Warehouse Management.
• Excellent oral, written, and digital communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations as the functional expert and key support resource for the SAP Warehouse Management module and associated processes.
• Perform implementations and setup configurations in the Warehouse Management area using best-practice methods and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate alternative solutions to business issues, and recommend solutions based on technical and business impacts.
• Lead support activities to resolve system issues through investigation and diagnostic testing.
• Resolve and close support and enhancement requests by performing necessary analysis and addressing issues for Warehouse Management system users and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with systems users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements based on workflows, goals, and processes.
• Support configuration updates, system improvements, upgrades, and implementations for the Warehouse Management module.
